With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Marketing concentration), a Master’s degree in Instrumental Teaching (Classical Music), and a postgraduate certificate in Organizational Diagnosis and Intervention, Marie-Hélène Gagnon has over twenty years of remarkable experience in organizational strategy and non-profit management.
Throughout her career, she has distinguished herself through her compassionate and engaging leadership, as well as a deep commitment to arts and culture, education, and social and environmental transformation.
With extensive field experience, Marie-Hélène has held senior management positions in cultural and social organizations. She notably led E27 musiques nouvelles, an organization dedicated to the production of contemporary music concerts, where she ensured the strategic development and quality of activities. She then took over as head of the l’Accroche Notes Music School, overseeing its growth, technological shift, an ambitious relocation project, and the implementation of innovative educational programs.
As Executive Director of the Monique Fitz-Back Foundation, she orchestrated the consolidation and strategic development of a provincial organization aimed at cultivating environmental and social awareness among Quebec youth. She led the development of innovative projects, the search for partnerships and funding, as well as a significant structuring of operations and HR practices.
As a consultant, Marie-Hélène has supported numerous non-profit organizations in their start-up, structuring, and development. Her expertise has been demonstrated through the creation of strategic plans, organizational assessments, feasibility studies, and the search for government grants, always taking into account the specific realities of each environment.
