Recognized for her reliability, rigor, and determination, Sophie Boyer excels at managing complex projects, planning and meeting deadlines, and organizational skills. With a certificate in philanthropic management, Sophie has a wide range of experience in philanthropy, governance, development, and project coordination.
Before joining BNP Inspire, she worked as a policy and program advisor for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where she contributed to the development of administrative procedures, data governance, and communication, awareness, and engagement strategies. Her professional career has also led her to develop solid expertise in information analysis, research, report writing, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders and clients.
For Sophie, philanthropy is lived through collective and often invisible actions, particularly the commitment of volunteers who, in the field, support causes that are sometimes underreported but essential. For her, their generosity and dedication embody hope and light in sometimes difficult realities.
Since childhood, Sophie has been deeply moved by the animal world and environmental issues. Having grown up at the foot of Mont Saint-Hilaire, surrounded by nature, she holds a strong belief in the harmonious coexistence of nature, humans, and animals. She devotes a significant portion of her free time to animal welfare, the outdoors, and discovering other cultures and landscapes.
