Brigitte Germain is a passionate and humble philanthropist. Dedicated from an early age, she began her career at the Old Brewery Mission, where she found her calling. She led the organization’s first major campaign, which raised $3.5 million, surpassing the initial goal of $2.5 million. She also developed two fundraising campaigns a year, increasing annual revenues from $500,000 to $1.3 million.
Among her many memories, she recalls the December 25th meals when she would distribute gift bags to homeless people. Her favourite project with this organization was the acquisition and renovation of a building to provide single rooms for vulnerable people.
She then held Executive Director positions at the Fondation pour la Santé du Nord de Lanaudière, the Women’s YWCA Foundation, the Mental Illness Foundation and the Fondation Santé Haut-Richelieu – Rouville. At BNP Inspire, Brigitte puts her expertise to work for numerous organizations. She excels in the development and implementation of innovative programs, and in the creation of fundraising initiatives such as annual campaigns and major and planned giving programs.
Passionate about the cause of mental health, she has collaborated with the Collectif pour l’accès à la psychothérapie (CAP) and the Mouvement pour mettre fin à l’itinérance à Montréal (MMFIM).
