Daniel H. Lanteigne is a leading figure in Canadian philanthropy, combining expertise and humanism to advance this vital sector. Active for many years, he held various positions in general management, development and communications before joining BNP Inspire in 2020 as Vice President, Talent, Strategy & Impact.
From an early age, Daniel has been committed to supporting the causes of organizations that aim to reduce inequalities and improve communities. In his role, he applies a holistic approach, combining talent management, governance and philanthropic strategies, while recognizing the need to professionalize the sector to maximize its impact.
In addition to his role at BNP, Daniel is a lecturer in philanthropic management at Université de Montréal and teaches the “Fundamentals of Fundraising” course for the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). Keen to further his knowledge, he is also a candidate for the Master’s degree in Philanthropy and NPO Leadership (MPNL) at Carleton University.
Daniel places particular emphasis on strengthening data, resources and structures in order to increase sector knowledge, promote sound governance and improve the quality of human resources practices.
During his career at BNP he has contributed to the success of more than 25 executive recruitments. He has also provided valuable insights into various governance issues and contributed to the success of several philanthropic strategies, notably in major gifts. Outside work, he is passionate about the arts, culture, politics and other causes close to his heart.
