Glenn Massad has acquired solid experience in communications, public relations and brand management through a diversified career. A graduate of Concordia University in Montreal with a Bachelor of Arts and Laval University with a Bachelor of Laws, he began his career as a talent manager at Dattner and Associates. He then worked at Creative Management Agency in Los Angeles. In 2002, he founded GM Communications, a communications consulting firm, where he exercised his talents as a media strategist, media trainer and corporate spokesperson, in addition to managing investor and stakeholder relations.
Glenn was also Vice-President of Investor Relations and Director of Communications at Blue Note Mining in Montreal, where he was able to enhance his understanding of business development. He then worked at Edelman Public Relations as Account Manager, National Mining Practice, and then held the position of Director of Communications at the Habilitas Foundation. His last professional assignment was with Miss Edgar’s and Miss Cramp’s School (ECS), where he was responsible for branding and marketing.
Growing up with grandparents with physical disabilities requiring special care, Glenn developed a deep interest in healthcare and well-being. This personal commitment led him to integrate philanthropic dimensions into his career. Most notably, he produced a touching video about a young man with cerebral palsy, shown at a private event, which raised $250,000 in donations. He has also contributed to initiatives such as the annual Scotia Bank Run, mobilizing thousands of people in support of a common cause.
By joining the philanthropic sector, Glenn seeks to align his professional choices with his personal values, striving to do good. At BNP Inspire, he uses his expertise and empathy to help organizations optimize their actions and propel themselves towards their philanthropic goals.
