Kate Tsafatinos is a new figure in philanthropy, combining communications expertise with a deep commitment to social causes that bring about change. After more than five years’ experience in the field of communications and marketing, she chose to redirect her focus to philanthropy, a sector where she wants to make a tangible and lasting impact.
Before joining BNP Inspire, Kate held several different positions. She was Marketing Coordinator for almost three years, then Communications Coordinator for just over two years. These roles enabled her to develop her skills in creative project management and communications strategy, while strengthening her ability to work as part of a team. However, it is in philanthropy that she has chosen to focus her efforts, as she wishes to be part of a meaningful change.
Kate sees philanthropy as a way of embodying compassion and commitment in everyday life and improving the well-being of individuals and communities. Her commitment has already manifested itself in concrete actions, such as volunteering with Good Shepherd in Toronto, where she helped prepare meals for the homeless. She also took part in the Constantine Yorkville Run, a charity event in support of local charities.
Kate is also deeply committed to the causes of animal rights and women’s rights, values that resonate particularly with her personal convictions. It is therefore with great enthusiasm that she joins BNP Inspire, where she can combine her communication skills with her desire to contribute to large-scale philanthropic projects.
