Since 2014, Marc-Antoine Bélanger has been actively involved in politics. During his studies in business management at Cégep de Sainte-Foy and currently in a multidisciplinary bachelor’s program, he completed two internships abroad. The first in Jerusalem, Israel, gave him an insight into Israeli-Palestinian and global conflicts, while the second in France immersed him in the workings of the French political system.
Marc-Antoine then moved on to government bodies, first as a development advisor, then as a political advisor. This experience enabled him to assist numerous organizations in their funding applications to the Quebec government. He has also helped to humanize the office of Member of Parliament by creating video vignettes on the role and responsibilities of an elected official.
Marc-Antoine has been immersed in the community since childhood. His grandfather volunteered at the Anse-Tibbits skating rink in Lévis, ensuring that the community could enjoy it to the full. This family tradition of involvement continued with his father and himself, contributing to the well-being of Lévis residents through recreational initiatives.
To better understand how organizations work, Marc-Antoine has been involved with various boards of directors and has acquired knowledge in governance. He has received training in NPO governance from the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés.
Now, he wants to help organizations tackle their day-to-day challenges and support them in bringing their projects to fruition. By joining the BNP Inspire team, he is leveraging his political experience and community involvement to make a significant contribution to the success of philanthropic initiatives.
