Marie-Josée Cloutier has been passionate about philanthropy since her early twenties, and has dedicated her life to helping others. She has long been a volunteer with organizations helping children and teenagers in difficulty, women victims of domestic violence, exhausted parents and isolated seniors. Recently, she worked with an NGO on their first major fundraising campaign, discovering a keen interest in international cooperation.
At the start of her career, Marie-Josée worked as a communications consultant in the private sector. However, she quickly chose to put her skills to work for NPOs, a choice aligned with her values. For nearly 15 years, she worked with a variety of organizations, both national and local, in sectors as diverse as health, education, homelessness, the fight against violence against women and improving the quality of life of families.
Since 2012, Marie-Josée has been a Senior Consultant at BNP Inspire, where she excels in the philanthropic development of organizations. Her expertise includes strategy implementation, campaign and major gift management, as well as coaching and training. Recent successes include the Sun Youth campaign in Montreal, which raised over $15 million for a new community center. Another was the UPA DI campaign, which raised $1.5 million to finance a circular economy project in Haiti and Senegal.
Her main motivation: to help create a better world.
