Marie-Krystine Longpré

[She/her/hers]

Senior consultant in philanthropy

Marie-Krystine Longpré is a social entrepreneur and impact leader with a passion for philanthropy, innovation and transformation. For over 15 years, she has actively worked to strengthen under-represented communities and promote sustainable practices in the philanthropic sector. Her career has been marked by a deep commitment to better living together and a constant drive to develop high-impact social solutions. She has held senior positions in major philanthropic organizations, where she has played a key role in the design and implementation of significant initiatives.

Marie-Krystine holds a master’s degree in management from the University of Sherbrooke and a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Quebec in Montreal and is also CFRE certified. She began her career in the communications sector as a communications and associative life consultant at Desjardins. She had the opportunity to work with organizations such as Centraide of Greater Montreal and the Canadian Red Cross, designing fundraising and awareness campaigns in support of major social initiatives. It was during this time that she discovered her true passion for philanthropy, a field in which she has since left an indelible mark.

Throughout her career, Marie-Krystine has actively contributed to several landmark initiatives. As Executive Director of the Édouard-Montpetit College Foundation and the National School of Aerotechnics, she supported projects such as the Entrepreneurial Challenge, a competition accompanied by inspirational talks with business leaders, aimed at stimulating the entrepreneurial spirit among students. Later, as head of the Junior Chamber of commerce of Montreal (JCCM), she co-created the Impact Generation program, in partnership with Fondaction, to train young professionals in sustainable and inclusive business practices.

Marie-Krystine’s commitment goes beyond the professional sphere. Since 2004, she has been actively involved in volunteer work around the world, collaborating with local communities to promote sustainable development and encourage intercultural exchange. She defines philanthropy as a daily act of embodying the values of benevolence and altruism, and strives to build bridges between communities, whether local or international.
