Wendy Corn is a seasoned professional with over 28 years’ experience in the education, health, community and political sectors. A strategic thinker and team builder, Wendy has proven her leadership by developing fundraising strategies and meeting or exceeding set objectives.
As Executive Director of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation, she launched several major gift campaigns and ensured the growth of all programs necessary to cultivate, solicit and steward individual donors, including annual giving, planned giving and events. Under her leadership, more than $28 million has been raised.
Prior to becoming CEO, Wendy held a number of senior positions in not-for-profit organizations. Most notably, she was Director of the McGill University Annual Fund, where she strategically refined the annual giving programs, increasing both their capacity and reach. She also co-organized the first Canadian Consortium on University Annual Giving, where she was the keynote speaker. She has also presented at various conferences and received numerous awards from AHP Canada and CCAE.
Over the years, Wendy has served on numerous boards and committees, and as a mentor at District 3, Concordia University’s start-up incubator. Her vast experience and commitment to philanthropy continue to inspire and guide many organizations towards their goals.
Today, as a philanthropy consultant at BNP Inspire, Wendy uses her expertise to help organizations maximize their impact and achieve their fundraising goals through innovative and effective strategies.
