A Career Marked by Leadership and Commitment
Richard holds an Executive Business Development Certificate from Caswell Corporate Coaching Company, a Management Leadership Certificate from CCI Leadership Institute, and an Honours Bachelor from the University of Ottawa’s School of Human Kinetics. With over 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, he has distinguished himself by his ability to establish strategic partnerships, manage organizational change, optimize support programs and develop sustainable funding sources to maximize the impact of organizations.
Prior to joining BNP Inspire, Richard served as the National Executive Director of the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association, where he led national projects, advanced policy initiatives, and secured diversified funding through grants and fundraising campaigns. His leadership was instrumental in expanding awareness programs, promoting legislative reforms and strengthening the organization’s financial viability. He has also held senior positions at PLUMSolutions Management Consulting, the McConnell Foundation, YMCA-YWCA and United Way Ottawa, where he managed multi-million-dollar community funds, expanded stakeholder networks and developed growth strategies.
With his expertise in performance optimisation and developing sustainable partnerships, Richard will play a key role in supporting organisations.
